A bright, tart herbal tea made from hibiscus flowers and complementary botanicals traditionally used to support hydration and cardiovascular health.

Hibiscus has been used in herbal traditions across Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America as a refreshing daily tea. Naturally rich in organic acids, polyphenols, and vitamin C, it produces a deep red infusion with a crisp, tart flavor.

This blend balances hibiscus with gentle citrus and aromatic herbs to create a tea that is both refreshing and supportive for daily use.

Enjoy it warm or iced, my favorite preparation is chilled and mixed with lemon and honey as an herbal mocktail lemonade. 

Botanical Ingredients

All botanical extracts are herbalist made in-house.

Hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa)

The primary herb in this blend. Hibiscus produces a vibrant red infusion with a naturally tart flavor and has traditionally been used to support cardiovascular health and hydration.

Rosehips (Rosa canina)

Naturally high in vitamin C and antioxidants. Rosehips add a fruity brightness while supporting immune and connective tissue health.

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)

A gentle aromatic herb traditionally used to calm the nervous system and support digestive comfort.

Orange Peel (Citrus sinensis)

Adds a subtle citrus note and supports digestion.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum spp.)

A warming spice that balances the tartness of hibiscus and supports circulation.

Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)

Provides natural sweetness while harmonizing the blend.

Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana)

Used in small amounts to gently soften the tartness of hibiscus.

Usage and Instructions

How to Brew

Add 1–2 teaspoons of tea to hot water.

Steep 5–10 minutes.

Serve warm or chill for iced tea.

Hibiscus tea is especially refreshing when served cold during warmer months.

Herbal Lemonade / Mocktail

This tea also works beautifully as a bright herbal lemonade or alcohol-free mocktail.

Simple Herbal Lemonade

1 tablespoon Lavender Tea

1 cup hot water

Steep for 10 minutes, then strain and allow to cool.

Add:

• juice of ½ lemon

• 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup

• ice and sparkling water
